Membership Categories
Professional Member-All acupuncturists and practitioners of Oriental Medicine who are actively certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). The annual fee for a professional member is $125.
New Member-Applicable for acupuncturists and practitioners of Oriental Medicine who are actively certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) who has not previously been a member of the Acupuncture Association of Missouri. The fee for a new member is $60.
Student Member-Any person currently enrolled in an acupuncture college or Oriental Medicine program, or is training in an approved apprenticeship program, and who is not otherwise eligible for Professional Membership status. The annual fee for a student member is $35.
Associate Member-Any person or organization interested in Oriental Medicine. The annual fee for an associate member is $50.
Any person wishing to join the Association must complete a membership application (see below) and submit a non-refundable membership fee for the appropriate membership level. Membership in the association provides a voice to the legislature via the AAM lobbyist and input to the Missouri Acupuncture Advisory Committee.
