One of the things I most dearly loved about living in Taiwan were the multitudinous storefront herb shops and Chinese medicine clinics. You could not transverse more than a few scooter littered blocks of sidewalk without passing one of these. In Taiwan, there are no doctor’s appointments. Instead you take walk in, take a number and gossip with the rest of the crowd while you wait to see the doc. Getting medical care there is affordable, fast and convenient.

While here in the USA we don’t have the habit of “take a number to see the doc”, at Yong Kang Clinic we draw our inspiration for effective and affordable healthcare from those densely packed Taiwanese streets. As a practitioner, I draw on my years of sitting there with Dr. Jiang in his cramped herb clinic where we would see patients together.

And like those clinics of Taiwan, we also have some hot tea to add a moment of appreciation to your day!
